GEOSCIENCES AND RESERVOIR ENGINEERING GROUP

GEOLOGIST

General Functions
  • Plans, organizes, coordinates, and implements geological and allied investigations relevant to the exploration, development and resource management of the country’s geothermal resources in order to ensure accurate assessment and efficient utilization of the geothermal and other earth resources.
Qualifications BS Geology; Licensed Geologist
Location Ortigas (Head-Office), but will be assigned most of the time in Leyte, Albay, Kidapawan, and Dumaguete

GEOPHYSICIST

General Functions
  • Conducts and supervises all field geophysical surveys including but not limited to electrical, electromagnetic, gravimetric, seismic, geodetic and hazard studies;
  • Evaluates and interprets the results of geophysical surveys and geophysical information in project/production areas;
  • Assists other geoscientists in the selection of drilling targets/pads, preparation of resource assessment and formulation of reservoir management strategies.
Qualifications BS Geology, BS Applied Physics, BS Physics; Licensed Geologist;

Preferably with knowledge and background in Seismology;

Graduates with good scholastic achievements and belonging to the top 10% of the graduating class.

GEOCHEMIST

General Functions
  • Plans, organizes, coordinates, and implements all geochemical investigations during exploration, development and exploitation of geothermal and other resources, to ensure accurate assessment of prospect areas and efficient utilization of the geothermal resource. The geochemist
  • Promotes and improves geochemical techniques in geothermal exploration, development and resource management.

GEOSCIENTIST

General Functions
  • Designs, implements, and maintains information systems (e.g. Geographic Information System) within the division and department.
  • Creates, maintains, and updates data and information dashboard;
  • Conducts research and development projects that address present and future problems and issues in production fields;
  • Evaluates performance of the resource and recommends appropriate actions that will help sustain production.

PROCESS GEOCHEMIST

General Functions
  • Conducts geoscientific evaluation of geothermal prospects;
  • Conducts advanced exploration and/or development studies and activities in geothermal prospects, aimed at verifying the exploration hydrologic model of a geothermal prospect and/or steam field development for power generation;
  • Updates management on the status of all geochemical activities in all geothermal areas undergoing exploration, development and exploration;
Qualifications BS Geology, BS Chemical Engineering, BS Chemistry;

Location Leyte

GEOPHYSICAL SURVEY TECHNICIAN

General Functions
  • Plans and conducts geophysical measurements over different survey stations operating various apparatus used in geophysical investigations (resistivity sets, MT and TEM systems, seismometer, gravimeter, barometer, altimeter, compass, GPS, EDM, communications equipment, etc.), and locate their actual positions on the ground.
Qualifications BS Electrical Technology; 4-year Electrical or Technical courses; Preferably with experience in seismograph reading and instrumentation.
Location Ortigas (Head-Office), but will be assigned most of the time in Leyte, Albay, Kidapawan, and Dumaguete

CARTOGRAPHER
(TERM-11 MOS.)

General Functions
  • Applies cartographic principles and Geographic Information system (GIS) tools to translate data and concepts into graphical, visual and digital representations of geologic, geophysical, geochemical, hydrological, petrologic maps, and figures
  • Performs spatial analysis and calculations to derive information from other spatial datasets, and works with the Geomatics Engineer to keep enterprise geodatabase up to date.
Qualifications Graduate of Geodetic Engineering, Geography, Computer Science, or other related field

Knowledge in ArcGIS and familiar with geographic coordinate transformations

HUMAN RESOURCE MANAGEMENT GROUP

COMPENSATION SUPERVISOR

General Functions
  • Designing of salary and compensation structures
  • Manage CBA compensation terms and agreements as well as assist in conducting effective negotiations with designated unions
  • Provide subject matter expertise and be able to guide the compensation team in their respective roles and responsibilities
Qualifications Graduate of Industrial Engineering, Psychology, or any related course with at least 10 years of work experience in compensation, strategic planning, and design; MBA or Masters degree plus experience in Energy/Power, Oil&Gas, or Manufacturing companies is an advantage.

HR SPECIALIST

(LGBU)

General Functions
  • HR Generalist for Compensation & Benefits Administration, Payroll, Employee and Labor Relations, Recruitment and Workforce Planning, and Learning and OD.
  • Provide subject matter expertise in the different facets of HR administration.
Qualifications Graduate of Industrial Engineering, Psychology, Behavioral Science, Human Resource Management or any related course with at least 4  years of work experience in general HR functions; MBA or Masters degree plus experience in Energy/Power, Oil&Gas, or Manufacturing companies is an advantage.

INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY GROUP

IT COMMUNICATIONS & NETWORKING TECHNOLOGY LEADER

General Functions
  • Responsible for leading, governing and providing technical guidance and standards for communications & networking technologies (voice, data, video, etc.) and all associated governance controls.
  • Coordinating activities and tasks associated with running a highly reliable network which is very critical to achieve quarterly and yearly business goals.
  • Responsible for recommending, analysing, testing, and maintaining software and hardware as required for the company.
Qualifications BS Electronics & Communications Engineering (or equivalent course).

Possession of current professional license, board exam and/or IT certification(s) a plus. At least 5 to 7 years experience in a LAN / WAN environment managing IT projects and operations.

Experience with enterprise level monitoring products. Operating Systems – Windows Server, clustering, Network load balancing, Terminal Server Management, Microsoft Office Communications Server, Instant Messaging.

ERP Systems knowledge is a plus.

WORKPLACE TECHNOLOGY OWNER

General Functions
  • Responsible for assisting the Leader in the overall design and implementation of the EDC desktop strategy, including desktop image definition, deployments, and maintenance.
  • Specifically responsible for ensuring consistency to technical direction, established platform and vendor solutions for desktop hardware, operating systems, e-Mail, collaboration SW and tools required for managing a central standard desktop environment.
Qualifications BS Electronics & Communications Engineering (or equivalent course).

Microsoft Certified System Engineer strongly preferred. 3 to 5 years direct experience in an IT Desktop Engineering role within a large multi-domain / multi-site organization

Experience with software management and distribution with Microsoft SCCM. Experience with Windows 7 Operating systems, MDOP tools a plus. Extensive experience designing/architecting Windows-based systems and Microsoft-based products.

Proven track record of successful desktop management in a foot print of 2000 plus desktops.

Demonstrated skills with: SCCM, AD, MS Office Suite to include OCS/LYNC, SharePoint, Incident tracking systems, etc. Active directory administration – (Group Policy creation, editing, and troubleshooting specific to desktop).

IT OFFICE SERVICES LEADER

General Functions
  • Reports directly to the CIO (Chief Information Officer) and may work in any organization or project, but his/her main purpose is to provide assistance in driving up the CIO’s productivity and effectivity.
  • Should have expertise in using technology to solve the problems within the IT Sector.
  • Scheduling executive meetings and travel plans are one of the important duties he/she needs to perform.
  • Assisting CIO in all possible works likes in meetings, preparing documents and presentations.
  • Need to attend phone calls from clients/stakeholders/partners and also respond to the emails received from clients/stakeholders/partners and concerned IT members without fail.
  • Conducting market research, building network of connections and in turn helps CIO in making important business decisions.
  • It is office services leader’s duty to make sure all the reports and data files are arranged in a perfect manner so as to avoid any inconvenience in business matters
Qualifications Any Bachelors Degree is desired (economics, business, computer science, math is a plus)

Certifications in advanced computer technologies from accredited institutions are also considered as a plus point

Work experience as executive secretary or assistant is a plus

Should have ability to organize and administer IT office processes and systems

Good administration and planning skills are also required

FINANCE AND ACCOUNTING GROUP

ACCOUNTANTS

General Functions Payables:

  • Ascertain validity and accuracy of claims by suppliers and contractors prior to settlement; ensure that liabilities are recognized; ensure that all payments transactions handled by the Section are duly recorded in the books.

Fixed Asset Accountant:

  • Implements, maintains and monitors common accounting and financial processes and documentation for the company’s land, plant, property, and equipment including surplus assets and ensures that existing Company policies and procedures are implemented to safeguard the Company’s assets and resources. Ensures transactions are recorded in accordance with the latest accounting standards.

Inventory Accountant:

  • Implements, maintains and monitors common accounting and financial processes and documentation for the company’s materials and supplies inventories including surplus inventories and ensures that existing Company policies and procedures are implemented to safeguard the Company’s assets and resources. Ensures transactions are recorded in accordance with the latest accounting standards.

Tax Assistant:

  • Provide technical assistance to the Tax-Finance segment to attain efficient improvements in tax processes to ensure 100% tax compliance and/or reduction of tax cost.
Qualifications BS in Accountancy and a CPA

With at least 2 years of experience in the respective functions

Experience with SAP system is a plus.

BUDGET ANALYST

General Functions
  • Develop, monitor and update performance indices, metrics and unitized costs of identified cost drivers related to: drilling and workover activities; maintenance of drilling rigs, pipelines, power plants, equipment and other facilities; civil works activities – road construction and maintenance, pad development, stabilization works; and corporate activities, among others;
  • Establish, monitor and update compliance to standards for procedures, practices and activities related to budget and cost control, standard equipment complement and best industry practices with the end view of optimizing company resources. Internal customers: EDC Board of Directors, Operations and Management Committees, All EDC Sectors and Subsidiaries.
Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree, preferably a graduate of Industrial or Civil Engineering

Experience in budgeting and planning preferred but not necessary

Graduates with good scholastic achievements. Should be detail-oriented and has good communication and presentation skills.

ENGINEERING AND CONSTRUCTION GROUP

DESIGN ASSISTANT

General Functions
  • Translates design concepts into working drawings for EDC geothermal FCRS and Power Plant and other drawings through application of computer-aided design technology
  • Ensures that all works shall be in conformance with standard detailing procedures in developing accurate and complete engineering, architectural, bid, fabrication and construction drawings
Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree, preferably a graduate of Architecture

Proficient in Autocad software and basic drafting

One (1) year experience in engineering and drafting technology

Willing to travel and be temporarily assigned at project sites

ENVIRONMENTAL & EXTERNAL RELATIONS GROUP

POLLUTION CONTROL OFFICER

General Functions
  • Formulates, implements, and/or monitors the implementation of site pollution control and management plans, including the laboratory and environmental management systems
  • Coordinate with external parties and participate in technical working groups, committee meetings, conferences, symposia, fora, product demonstrations, and the like to continually assess developments on new regulatory policy requirements, and other relevant information, and applicable technologies
Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering, Licensed Chemical EngineerWith experience (at least 2 years) in pollution control, environmental monitoring, and/or waste management

Computer literate; Exceptional verbal, written, and public speaking skills; Able at public relations and coordination tasks; Has profound technical knowledge on waste management and pollution control
