General Functions


Ascertain validity and accuracy of claims by suppliers and contractors prior to settlement; ensure that liabilities are recognized; ensure that all payments transactions handled by the Section are duly recorded in the books.

Fixed Asset Accountant:

Implements, maintains and monitors common accounting and financial processes and documentation for the company’s land, plant, property, and equipment including surplus assets and ensures that existing Company policies and procedures are implemented to safeguard the Company’s assets and resources. Ensures transactions are recorded in accordance with the latest accounting standards.

Inventory Accountant:

Implements, maintains and monitors common accounting and financial processes and documentation for the company’s materials and supplies inventories including surplus inventories and ensures that existing Company policies and procedures are implemented to safeguard the Company’s assets and resources. Ensures transactions are recorded in accordance with the latest accounting standards.

Tax Assistant:

Provide technical assistance to the Tax-Finance segment to attain efficient improvements in tax processes to ensure 100% tax compliance and/or reduction of tax cost.


BS in Accountancy and a CPA

With at least 2 years of experience in the respective functions

Experience with SAP system is a plus.

General Functions

Develop, monitor and update performance indices, metrics and unitized costs of identified cost drivers related to: drilling and workover activities; maintenance of drilling rigs, pipelines, power plants, equipment and other facilities; civil works activities – road construction and maintenance, pad development, stabilization works; and corporate activities, among others;

Establish, monitor and update compliance to standards for procedures, practices and activities related to budget and cost control, standard equipment complement and best industry practices with the end view of optimizing company resources. Bachelor’s Degree, preferably a graduate of Industrial or Civil Engineering

General Functions

Perform various audit work such as operational, financial, information technology, process, system, fraud, special projects and other consulting services.

Execute assigned audit project from engagement planning, design and establishment of audit programs, resource requirements, timeline, coordination with auditee, audit program execution, reporting and communication of audit results.

Familiarize with the areas to be audited including business objectives, programs and procedures and perform initial risk and control identification and assessment of the relevant areas to be audited under the supervision of superiors.

Apply various audit tools and techniques i.e. analytical review, computer aided audit techniques or data analytics, flowchart, root cause analysis, risk assessment, quantitative techniques, etc. in evaluating the adequacy of controls over the assigned areas subject of the audit.

Identify control gaps or weaknesses, fraud red flags and assess likelihood and pervasiveness of fraud risks.

Perform research on other business concepts i.e. taxation, laws and regulations, mathematics and other technical knowledge, relevant to the audit and applying these to the audit project.

Perform root cause analysis and benchmarking and formulate appropriate recommendations to address the control weaknesses, strengthen internal controls or improve the efficiency of business operation being audited.

Evaluate the significance of the audit findings noted and formulate conclusion on the overall adequacy of controls over the business areas being audited.

Monitor, follow up and document the status of outstanding audit issues, recommendations and agreed actions with management.

As assigned by superiors, perform other consulting services requested by management and business units.

Ensure adequate focus on professional growth through relevant education and trainings to keep abreast with current trends and techniques in internal auditing and other business concepts.

Qualifications Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Licensed Engineer

Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) and/or other related certifications such as Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), etc. (not required but an advantage).  At least 1 year of relevant experience in internal auditing or related field such as accounting, business process or IT systems analysis, programs or operations evaluation.
