Mr. Luboff, 41, Australian, has been a Director of EDC since October 2017. He is also a Senior Managing Director at Macquarie Infrastructure and Real Assets, where he has been managing infrastructure businesses across Asia, Australia and North America since 2000. MIRA is the world’s largest infrastructure asset manager and has approximately 11GW of renewable energy investments under management.

He is the CEO and an Investment Committee member of MIRA’s Pan-Asian infrastructure fund, Macquarie Asian Infrastructure Fund I (MAIF1), which raised US$2.3 billion of equity capital commitments by February 2016.

In his time in MIRA, David has led the establishment and ongoing investment management of a number of international Macquarie managed infrastructure funds. He has held various senior roles within MIRA including CIO and CEO of Macquarie Specialized Asset Management (2007-2013) and CFO of ASX listed Macquarie Airports (2009, ASX ticker today SYD). He was also previously appointed by the Australian Government as Chairman on the Council of Australia Latin American Relations (2010-2013). 

Mr. Luboff holds degrees in Bachelor of Commerce (Actuarial) and Bachelor of Applied Finance from Macquarie University.
