Function Procurement
General Function

Responsible for the implementation of sourcing strategies, processes, plans and activities that will deliver a standardized low cost operational service to meet the strategic and day-to-day needs. Directly accountable for the successful implementation and execution of the Opportunity Plan and the subsequent delivery of significant savings to the company and to promote Procurement efficiency and on-time delivery in full of goods and/or services. Interfaces with proponents for the development of Opportunity Plans and programs that focuses on high-value high-volume transactions and the adoption of cost reduction strategies. Creates and negotiates contracts and implements vendor management activities to develop agreements that are mutually beneficial. Responsible for providing support to procurement operations in the achievement of their objectives and targets.

Executes both operational and strategic sourcing depending on the need

Implements Opportunity Planning activities by collaborating with proponents to asses opportunities and ensure business alignment with Management strategy, goals and objectives

Executes sourcing plans and strategies that complement the Supply Chain’s initiatives

Effectively structures and negotiates contracts to ensure alignment to and fulfillment of business objectives.

Leads Vendor Management activities to strengthen both businesses

Enables Supply Chain Organizational Capability consistent with enterprise objectives

Performs other functions which may be assigned from time to time by the Department or Team Head.

Qualifications

Graduate of Engineering, Economics, Business Administration or any related field
Applicants with Law units, MBA or Supply Chain certifications or equivalent is a plus but is not required for this position
Must have a minimum of 3 to 5 years work experience in Supply Chain Management
Must have in-depth knowledge in major ERP Systems and SAP
Must have work related experience in Market Intelligence, Strategic Sourcing, Supplier Management, as well as Total Cost of Ownership Processes
Must possess extensive project management, contract management, as well as negotiation skills
Must be customer oriented and have strong vendor management skills
Must have good oral and written communications skills
