Function Analyst
General Function

The Data Analyst/Scientist initiates and leads project work teams for overall project success and direction. Conducts data analysis to enable, improve and/or transform business operations by leveraging digital technologies Provides subject matter expertise in power generation and emerging technologies. Supports all operational and strategic requirements involving controls systems, asset management, process engineering, and power plant operations. Conducts business research and analysis for power generation. Utilizes and applies advanced analytics tools as quantitative basis to assist management in making better and sound decisions. Provides consultation, coordination and support to various strategic teams’ projects, programs and initiatives and offers solutions to business problems by evaluating all possible outcomes and selects those that yield the best result. Analyzes processes, systems and recommend improvements. Conducts full lifecycle analysis to ensure the quality and accuracy.

Qualifications

Academics
Graduate of any Engineering, Statistics or Computer science courses

Professional Experience
Must have 3-5 years background in IT, engineering, statistics or computer science
Must have working experience in power industry

Skills Required
Experienced in data analytics
Process knowledge in utilities management
Programming skills a plus (not required to be programmer)
Knowledgeable in PI server
Background in technology, data analysis and software
Familiar with control systems, SCADA, DCS, PLC,etc
Leadership skill/quality (self starter)
Willing to travel
