Continental Temic chooses clean energy from EDC

Global automotive parts company Continental Temic Electronics Philippines’ facilities in Calamba, Laguna will soon be powered by clean, reliable power from Energy Development Corporation (EDC).

The company’s two-year contract for 2.7 megawatts (MW) of geothermal power from EDC’s Bacon-Manito Geothermal Project will commence on December 26, 2018.

“We chose EDC for its 100% renewable energy and for its sustainability programs, which are aligned with our company values,” said Continental Temic General Manager, Mr. Glenn Everett.

Continental Temic develops and manufactures components, modules, and systems for the automotive industry. Its corporate strategy is focused on climate protection and energy efficiency.
