The Energy Development Corporation (EDC) has turned over to Kidapawan City government five 19-footer container vans to be used as additional COVID-19 facility.
City Administrator Lu T. Mayormita received the vans from EDC Community Project Coordinator Froilan Garcia in a recent ceremony.
Mayormita said two of the container vans will be used by Kidapawan City Police in the event any of the detainees will be infected with the virus.
Meanwhile, the local government reiterated its call to the people to observe the minimum health protocols and follow the guidelines while the city is under general community quarantine (GCQ).
The city government continues with the rollout of its vaccination program.
